[ROOT] Night Light (KCAL) is a utility and tools open-source application by Avinaba Dalal. The free application is a light filter where it allows simple adjustment of the blue light intensity from any screens on mobile devices. Very bright blue light can hurt the eyes of anyone whenever they use their mobile devices at night or dim-litten places. Reducing the blue light from mobile devices can help users to sleep better as users get less distracted from the illumination. The application features an intuitive interface with easy to find settings. RGB color values are changeable while they can be saved for user settings. Users can simply switch on or off the night light. The main advantage of this simple application is that the source code is available for access in their official GitHub account. Users are free to contribute to the development of the application. The other features included are: support for with sunset/sunrise timings, dark hours start time and Tasker plugin, boot delay settings, Quick Setting tile, Night Light toggle via Launcher icon and Dark/Light theme.
